Therapy Advisors is a team of clinical, computer and research specialists. The founders have had decades of successful work in the health care arena. Individually, each of the founders have designed and built programs in the health care and IT (information technology) arenas. They are considered, by their peers to be expert in their respective fields. Collectively, they have published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, consulted to and or worked with Fortune 500 Companies, developed protocols for clinic operations (both manual and electronic) and administrated ancillary health care professionals (e.g. physicians, physical therapists, and administrative personnel). Together, this group has a broad and deep understanding of the dynamics of successfully treating patient with back and neck pain and to provide outcomes measurement solution for various medical specialties. |
| Thomas E. (Ted) Dreisinger, PhD |
Dr. Dreisinger is Chief Executive Officer for Therapy Advisors. Prior to this he was Research Coordinator with US Spine & Sport Foundation – San Diego. He also is an active consultant to a number of clients. Immediately prior to this he was Vice President of Outcomes Management for Integrated Pain Solutions, a company dedicated to the management of individuals suffering from pain. Prior to this, he was Director of Research and Development for Dynamic Rehabilitation a six clinic conservative care spine company in Detroit, Michigan. He was a founder and managing partner of Progressive Spine Care and Rehabilitation, a fully computer-automated spine clinic, in Columbia, Missouri, He developed a successful upper extremity injury prevention program for Tyson Foods, Justine Industries and MagTek in the 1990s virtually eliminating carpal tunnel surgeries for those participating in his programs. Subsequent to this, he was Vice President of Prevention First, a venture funded company dedicated to the prevention of spinal injuries in industry. Clients included United Airlines, Northwest Airlines and 3M. He has published articles in biomedical journals including Spine, Orthopedics, Journal of Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Paraplegia, and the Journal of Cardiac Rehabilitation. He has spoken widely both in the United States and abroad and is considered an expert in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. His background includes more than 30 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation, orthopedics and physical medicine. He is politically active in a number of spine organizations and sits on two editorial boards. He received his Doctoral degree in exercise physiology from the University of Missouri. Dr. Dreisinger is a Vietnam Veteran. |

| Sandesh Malpure, MS, MBA |
Mr. Malpure is Chief Information Officer of Therapy Advisors. He specializes in computer technology solutions in the health care industry. Mr. Malpure brings 20 years of technology, operations and management experience in the information technology, healthcare and document management industry. He has special expertise in software product launch, document management, business process reengineering, and strategic management. He consults in strategic technology transformation, business strategy and mergers and acquisitions. He successfully launched, marketed and sold the Ultrabase Office automation product series and is an expert in the healthcare IT sector. Mr. Malpure is known for well-thought solutions and insightful products that bring clarity to business operations and strategy. He holds two software patents and has made significant contributions in the fields of software engineering and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from COEP, Pune, India, a Masters of Science degree from University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a Certified Professional in healthcare information and management systems. |

| Paul L. Flicker, M.D. |
Dr. Flicker is Principal Orthopaedic Consultant for Therapy Advisors. He is currently an Orthopaedic Surgeon with Choice Care Occupational Medicine & Orthopaedics in Atlanta, GA. Prior to this position, Dr. Flicker was a Partner with Resurgens Orthopaedics/OrthoLink in Atlanta where he initiated comprehensive, conservative, non-operative care programs for cervical and lumbar spine issues. Before joining Resurgens, Dr. Flicker was Assistant Professor: Orthopaedics, Radiology & Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSWMC) in Dallas, TX. He is proud to have worked for and been mentored by the late Dr. Vert Mooney who received the 2008 Wiltse Lifetime Achievement Award in Lumbar Spine Research. During Dr. Flicker’s tenure at UTSWMC, he developed, implemented and became Medical Director of the Center for Bone & Joint Disorders. Coincident with this position, he was selected as the first holder of the Wofford Cain Chair in Bone and Joint Research. Prior to his move to Dallas, Dr. Flicker was in private practice in Somerville, NJ. During that time, he held the position of Chief of Orthopaedics at Somerset Medical Center as well as Medical Director at the Matheny School for Disabled Children. Dr. Flicker’s active military duty was with the United States Public Health Service. Subsequently, he served as a Captain in the US Naval Ready Reserve, Medical Corps. His undergraduate course of study was taken at the University of Pennsylvania, and he earned his Medical Degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Flicker completed his orthopaedic training with a Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the North American Spine Society (NASS). |

| Ms. DeEtte Feurtado: |
Ms. Feurtado is Principal operations consultant for Therapy advisors. She is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of managing business operations in the health care and fitness industries. Ms. Feurtado graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology in 1990. She began her career as a faculty member within the University of Florida College of Medicine. In her faculty position as Director of Educational Programs, Ms. Feurtado assisted in the development of protocols utilizing computerized strength measurement and training equipment for the treatment and prevention of chronic lumbar and cervical spine disorders. She has lectured and taught throughout the country in the area of resistance training and active spinal rehabilitation. In 1997, Ms. Feurtado left the University of Florida, College of Medicine to head up operations of Prevention First, Inc., a Minneapolis based company dedicated to the prevention of occupational low back injuries. As Director of Operations for Prevention First, Inc., Ms. Feurtado managed the daily operations of on-site low back injury prevention programs that served thousands of employees for Allina Medical Systems, Health Span Transportation, Unity Hospital, United Airlines, SuperValu, Northwest Airlines and 3M. From 2001-2002, Ms. Feurtado served as Vice President of Marketing for Physician’s Neck and Back Clinic, Inc. where she was responsible for increasing physician referrals for treatment and for promoting the company’s services to local residents, businesses and insurance companies. Ms. Feurtado served as President and Chief Operating Officer of America’s Back and Neck Clinic from 2002-2009 where she was responsible for the clinical operations of 13 spinal rehabilitation centers located inside Wal-Mart SuperCenters. Additionally, Ms. Feurtado is the Executive Director of the Arthur Jones Institute which is a training facility dedicated to teaching the safe and accurate use of spinal evaluation and rehabilitation equipment manufactured by the MedX Corporation. During the past 20 years, Ms. Feurtado has been actively involved as a rehabilitation consultant for physical therapy clinics, third party payors and the legal profession. |
| Ms. Joanie “Monica” Schultz: |
As Senior Director of Communications & HR for Therapy Advisors, Ms. Schultz creates communication modules for internal/external use and is an integral part of the team that develops new business plans. She is a seasoned HR Executive with extensive experience in the technology industry. Ms. Schultz attended Ramapo College before joining the IBM Corporation in New York. During her very successful career at IBM, she held various Human Resources management positions including the following: Regional Manager of Compensation & Benefits, Area Manager - Personnel Services, HRIS, & Employment, Headquarters Manager - Employee Relations, Corporate Relations & Recruiting Programs Manager, Headquarters Diversity Manager overseeing plant/lab locations in four states, and Diversity Manager for the Boulder, CO manufacturing and development site. Ms. Schultz’s comprehensive corporate experience includes disability accommodations along with managing workers’ compensation issues. In her last position at IBM, Ms. Schultz was a 2nd Level Human Resources Manager supporting business functions in nine states involving over 10,000 employees in the Southwestern Region. After her departure from IBM, Ms. Schultz was an Independent Business Consultant working with clients including IBM, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, MCI and Bell Atlantic. Thereafter, she returned to the corporate world as the Southeastern Area HR Manager for Amdahl Corporation, which later merged with Fujitsu. During that period of time, Ms. Schultz received several Presidents’ Awards for outstanding contributions for her work regarding employee satisfaction and recognition programs. Prior to joining Therapy Advisors, Ms. Schultz was Senior Director of HR for Fujitsu Technology Solutions - North America. As part of her corporate role, she provided operational interface to the Fujitsu Technology Solutions European HR organization. In 2009, Ms. Schultz completed both the Life Coaching Certification from Edison State College and the Creativity in Business Program adapted from Stanford University’s MBA Curriculum. Her other professional development achievements include, but are not limited to, Certification in Employee Relations Law from the Institute for Applied Management and Law, Consulting Services Foundation Workshop, the Hoffman Quadrinity Process and the Hurricane Island Outward Bound Program for Managers and Professionals. She has been a Chairperson and on the Speakers’ Bureau for The Council on Battered Women in Georgia and a Chapter President for The Multiple Sclerosis Service Organization in New Jersey. |
